This position is part of our Advanced Safety & User Experience segment.

Summary:

Exciting and challenging internship program providing interns with real opportunities to work on problems faced by the Future of Mobility industry! As part of the assignment, Intern gets to work with engineers solving challenging issues faced by the Autonomous driving involving higher autonomy levels. They work on developing features that add value for the customer safety and add excitement to Autonomous ride experience. As part of the Vehicle System engineering team, interns work on customer facing features like Automatic Lane Change, or Hands-Free Highway driving. The result is a safe and enjoyable ride experience for the ultimate user of the vehicle!

During their assignment, Interns will have a chance to learn about developing sound requirements, testing and validating requirements. They will be able to use their academic know how and put that in to a practice. Interns will also, be able to work on test vehicles conducting drives, collecting logs, and analyzing data. They will be able to use and develop analytical and problem-solving skills. At the end of the assignment, interns will be able to hone their communication skills, and develop confidence in their abilities.

Must Haves (Basic Qualifications):

• Pursuing Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Systems Engineering

Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience with Matlab, Simulink, stateflow machine learning, system integration
