The Opportunity

Marvell is developing products to protect data (in motion and at rest), authentication and key management in public/private clouds and large enterprises. LiquidSecurity Hardware Secure Module (HSM) Adapters are the industry's first and only FIPS 140-2 level 3 certified solution designed to be deployed in hyperscale cloud environments. They offer the highest HSM performance and scalability, as well as the remote management and resiliency required for the intense workloads and environmental conditions of the cloud datacenters where they are deployed.

Job Responsibilities:

In this exciting role you will be part of the engineering group of full stack engineers and contribute to design, architecture and implementation for one or more products in LiquidSecurity HSM products and their applications. We are looking to re-invent the user interaction and experience with HSMs. This is an excellent opportunity to participate in the company's product security initiatives, end-to-end.

  • Responsible for implementing and enhancing the security posture of the flagship products used by cloud service providers
  • Automate processes and procedures to create a highly resilient security infrastructure keeping developer velocity and efficiency in mind
  • Enabling secure design and development of core architectural components
  • Responsible for 1st and 3rd party vulnerability management and communicating with customers

Requirements:

  • BS in CS/EC/EE or MS in CS/EC/EE (or equivalent) and a deep understanding of information security-related topics, such as authentication, identity management, data protection, data leakage prevention, validation checking, encryption, key management, principle of least privilege, software attack methodologies, securing data in transit, in storage, and so forth is expected
  • 5+ years of professional software design and development experience with a proven record of delivering Security Engineering solutions
  • Strong programming experience in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Python, Rust.
  • Kali Linux experience is HIGHLY DESIREABLE!
  • Strong experience designing and validating products per security standards, controls, policies related to HW and SW platforms, containerization environments.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks/methodologies and tools for threat analysis of complex systems and risk identification
  • Prior experiencing in implementing and integrating tools for static analysis, dynamic analysis, fuzzing, and penetration testing
  • Experience in software security testing, methodologies, and frameworks
  • SAST platforms such as Sonarqube, Checkmarx, Klocwork, Coverity
  • Hands-on experience in container-based deployments and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker, EKS, GKE, Terraform)
