Job Description:
- Participate in the development and maintenance of Fortinet Cloud Service.
- Participate in all phases of the software development cycle to reach new product launches and feature development including gathering requirements, design, implementation, and deployment.
- Develop and maintain Fortinet authentication cloud service with Python and MySQL relational database, integrate Forti-products and third-party applications with the cloud service to enhance system security.
- Participate in all phases of software development for the FortiToken Cloud project including gathering requirements and design, implementation, and deployment of secure cloud management of two-factor authentication for the company's major cybersecurity products, e.g., FortiGate.
- Utilize software development skills focusing on Cloud Service REST API design and implementation. Take ownership of significant areas of the code for both new software feature and functionality development as well as to maintain and redesign of the existing areas of the products.
Job Requirements:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or foreign equivalent).
Special Requirements:
1) Programming with Python, Shell scripting
2) Database design and management with SQL
3) Computer network protocol
4) Distribute system and microservices
5) data structures and algorithms
6) Rest API design
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000-$185,000. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.
Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company's discretion.
