Job Description:

Full time In-Office Required - Work location: Palo Alto, California

As a Tax Manager, you will assist tax leaders within the U.S. Indirect Tax function. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, U.S. Indirect Tax.

Job Description:

  • Support U.S. indirect tax compliance and coordinate with external service providers for sales and use tax, property tax, gross receipts

  • Manage indirect tax audits, inquiries, and data gathering

  • Assist in the maintenance of OneSource transaction tax software including customer tax exemption certificates and identify system setup issues

  • Support improving, automating, and implementing tax processes and workflows

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on indirect tax issues (Business Units, Sales, Accounts Payable, Credit & Collections, Procurement, IT)

  • Keep up to date on new tax developments and legislative changes

  • Other special projects and tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 8+ years of indirect tax experience (combined public accounting and software/technology industry) or Master's degree and 6+ years

  • Experience with Oracle ERP systems

  • Experience with OneSource/Sabrix sales and use tax software

  • Experience with Alteryx is a plus

  • Proficient in G-suite and Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to work independently, proactively and self-manage competing priorities

  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills

Additional Job Description:

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $150,000.

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
