Your Team, Your Impact

Validation Team in the Connectivity Business Group specializes in data communication across networking, data centers, automotive, AI, and industrial sectors. Our primary emphasis is on silicon validation for advanced transceiver designs, with expertise in Ethernet PHY, high-speed Serdes, PCIe, and emerging technologies.

What You Can Expect

In this role, you will apply your knowledge in analog/mixed signal design in post-silicon validation, with a focus on electrical characterization and performance verification.

Typical responsibilities consist of:

  • Characterize and validate PCIe, high speed SerDes, copper PHY IPs and ICs with lab instruments such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, network analyzer, etc.

  • Design and develop system hardware and software for electrical characterization, functional validation, and performance analysis.

  • Review industrial standards, propose test methodologies, and create validation plan.

  • Document validation result and report issues.

  • Work with analog, digital and DSP design teams on issue investigation, performance improvement, and feature enhancement.

  • Provide technical support to other functional groups such as production, qualification, and application engineering teams to resolve customer and production related issues.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 3-5 years of related professional experience. Or Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 2-3 years of experience.

  • Strong background knowledge in electrical engineering field, particularly in analog and mixed-signal design.

  • Hands on experience with lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Function Generator, Logic Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, etc.

  • In-depth knowledge and working experience of PCIe and high speed SerDes technologies is preferred.

  • Proficiency in programming language, Python preferred.

  • Clear logic thinking and excellent problem-solving skill.

  • Strong verbal/written communication and documentation skill.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

100,840 - 151,000, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
