Marvell's Hr Operations role is to support across the group and ensure that our company recourses are used beneficially. Some responsibilities include, setting up budgets, applying company policies and helping with Internal HR systems to make sure the operate efficiently.

What You Can Expect

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Sr HR Operations Analyst to join our HR Operations Americas team, reporting into the Global HR Operations Manager out of our Santa Clara, CA office.

As an Sr HR Operations Analyst, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers, new hires, and other key stakeholders to coordinate resources, conduct orientation sessions in person and address onboarding logistical needs. You will also facilitate connections between new employees and their managers, promoting collaboration and a sense of belonging within our company. Your exceptional communication skills will be vital in effectively communicating our company's culture and policies. Additionally, you will be part of the Shared Service team, myHR providing support to employees, HRBPs, HR COEs and other functional colleagues across the organization.

The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Lead and manage new hire orientation for the Americas which includes:
    • Coordinating and conducting new hire orientation sessions live from our Santa Clara, CA headquarters.
    • Schedule weekly new hire orientation guest speakers who provide an overview of the company's mission, vision, and policies.
    • Serving as a point of contact for new hires, addressing their questions and concerns and managing the onboarding process.
    • Collaborating with hiring managers, talent acquisition, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
    • Facilitating the completion of new hire paperwork through Workday, including I-9s, one-time payments and other necessary documentation.
    • Manage all workday onboarding task related to onboarding and new hires including background checks from start-to-end.
    • Monitoring the progress of new employees, identifying any challenges, and providing support and guidance as needed.
    • Manage the administration of internal transfer into the Americas.
    • Address issues or concerns with our background check vendor to solve problems as they may arise.
  • Be an active member of the Shared Services team which includes:
    • Respond to employee inquires via ServiceNow or emails regarding HR questions, issues, problems, and status changes within defined Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) and quality measures.
    • Provides sound judgment and/or resolution on employee issues by utilizing resources e.g., policy, process, and relevant internal sites.
    • Identify areas of opportunity for continuous improvement and partner with key stakeholders to build effective working relationships and provide constructive field perspective to influence common processes and procedures.
    • Supports administration of mass employee movement and organizational changes, in partnership with HR Business Partners and COEs.
    • Coordinates special projects, as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Arts or related fields and 3-5 years of related professional experience. Master's degree and/or PhD, in Business, Science, Arts or related fields with 2-3 years of experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in HR Operations/Shared Services or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of onboarding best practices, HR law and I-9s.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively on projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable partnering with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to shape communication to guide stakeholders to embrace creative solutions.
  • Capable of rapidly adapting to ongoing change and operate effectively.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

82,680 - 123,800, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
