Job Description

Fortinet is seeking a Product Manager, Data Loss Prevention who has sharp focus to innovate and create solutions that give best functional, operational and end-user experience. The successful candidate will have strong technical background in data security having led products, services in accurately predicting and preventing data loss. They must show precise understanding of techniques, market and customers in this space. Hands-on experience with network security, next-gen firewall, segmentation, zero-trust, access control and SaaS is required. Understanding of product development cycles, eagerness to engage with engineering, technical customers & field sales is required with ability to adapt to fast-paced environment.
Product Manager in this role must be comfortable presenting proposals to Executive Team, answering questions and driving proposals to conclusion with strong supporting data. PM will work cross-functionally to lead end-to-end life cycle of product and services. PM is an active member of the R&D team, refining product vision as well as tactical feature requests into actionable items, creating functional specifications, managing timelines & deliverables, and bringing new products/services to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To define Product Roadmap and communicate effectively, including both internal and external product evangelism.
To engage with Field Engineering leaders to validate new requests and prioritize effectively to drive business growth.
To provide support to field teams in customer engagements including, but not limited to technology overview, detail presentations, collaterals, solution videos and live demos.
To create regular reports to capture priorities from technical, commercial and support areas to ensure effective allocation of resources and call out challenges.

QUALIFICATIONS:
15+ years of Network and Data Security Industry Experience with 10+ years in products ownership and customer/field facing technical roles. Sales engineering and/or R&D experience is a plus.
Hands-on experience creating products, services in network and data security space and in public cloud such as GCP, AWS, Azure and OCI
Proven track record of successful products delivery/deployments.
The individual should be able to demonstrate an understanding product planning discipline, with previous cross collaboration experience in working with development engineering, field sales and directly with customers.
Interested candidates must have solid organizational skills and be excited about working hard in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Must be a team player and have exceptional communication skills.
Bachelor or Masters degree in EE, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields

This position may require traveling globally.

Please be advised that although the title is Director, this position is designated as an individual contributor role and does not entail direct supervision of personnel.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $170,000-$235,000. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company's discretion.
