We are looking for a new Associate Manager of Retail Store Communications. Reporting to the Director, Employee Experience, you will execute a communications strategy that enables stores to accomplish strategic and financial goals for the U.S./Canada Direct to Consumer (DTC) function.

This is hybrid position and will require occasional work from our San Francisco headquarters.

Key Results:

  • Increase in engagement and adoption of store communications platform

  • Reduction in number of communication tools/vehicles used with retail employees

  • Reduction in # of tasks sent to stores

  • Increased engagement and sentiment on retail employee meetings and events

  • Improvement in engagement scores for retail employees

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the gatekeeper of all communication and ensure partners are following the correct processes for communicating to stores, including usage of the correct channels

  • Collaborate with Retail Operations, Global DTC and retail leadership to create a comprehensive engagement strategy for our retail communications tool, increasing overall usage, adoption and task completion while simplifying communication for store leaders and stylists

  • Create District Manager communication strategy, including creation of specific tools and resources for this audience

  • Oversee our internal newsletter, including partnering with Communication Specialists to outline the focus of each newsletter issue and partners involved

  • Act as an administrator and primary point-of-contact within the US/CA cluster for the communications platform

  • Develop surveys and comprehensive processes to solicit and collect feedback from our store teams to hindsight events and inform future strategies

  • Own overall document organization strategy and task management tools and processes within the communications platform

  • Manage content development for in-person and virtual retail leader meetings, including agendas, facilitation guides, speaking points and presentations

  • Create communications collateral for all meetings, including welcome materials, multimedia kits and essential message overviews

  • Write all retail organizational announcements, including promotions, new roles and organizational changes

  • Oversee all crisis communications support, including drafting all necessary protocol updates

Minimum Education Required:

  • 5-7 years of combined college education and work experience in Journalism, Creative Writing or related field; Retail communications experience preferred

Years and Type of Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Enjoy organizing complex projects and timelines

  • Ability to take complex information and make it easy to digest for in-store execution

  • Understand how to balance between the needs of the company and the ability for stores to manage the workload and consume information

The expected starting salary range for this role is $77,300 - 120,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
