CTSI Employees

Works at clinical sites to perform Linear Accelerator commissioning services, including acceptance testing, TPS modeling, validation, reporting and end-to-end testing as required. Ensure high quality service through superior validation, customer experience, on-site operations, follow procedure, performance of practice standards. Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards. Supports and demonstrates Family-Centered Care principles when interacting with customers and with co-workers.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the team going on customer site for commissioning

Assist or perform water phantom setup and alignment for data collection

Perform commissioning tasks including data collection and analysis using IBA water phantom system

Perform TPS modeling and validation

Utilize multiple vendor dosimetry QA equipment and software to collect and analyze measurement data

Operate Varian Treatment, TPS and EMR systems

Write commissioning report and communicate report to customer physicist

Provide clinical expertise in understanding and meeting specific customer needs

Participates in process improvement tasks and software development

May provide on-site or remote physics support at other sites (not limited to commissioning clients)

May provide annual and or monthly QA in support of clinical sites

Other duties as assigned by Dir. of Physics Commissioning, and for Advanced Oncology Solutions

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to travel up to 50%-75% within the US and potentially international

M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Medical Physics or a closely related field required

Five to seven (5-7) years of experience in a clinical environment are required

Certification in Radiation Oncology Physics by the American Board of Radiology, the American Board of Medical Physics (ABR or ABMP) or other appropriate certifying body is required.

Position must have full access to Varian client sites to perform the essential functions of this position. Many clients require Varian employees and representatives to meet certain Vendor Credentialing requirements before they will be allowed to have access to their sites. Unless prohibited by law, position must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access and must continue to meet those requirements during the course of employment in this position. These requirements vary by client and may include, but are not limited to: Proof of valid identification (photo, driver's license, SSN) Criminal background checks Drug screens Immunizations (COVID-19, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus) Annual TB testing Healthcare training

The base pay range for this position is

Min $162,400 - Max $292,700

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
