Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree required,
preferably in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear)
Strong commitment to Safety
8+ year's progressive experience
in manufacturing management and leadership
Ability to manage safety
programs that help ensure the protection of employees and public
Strong sense of urgency is
required in this dynamic just in time production environment
Demonstrate an effectiveness in
meeting or exceeding customer's expectations
Background in fast-paced 24/7
process manufacturing environment
Effective communicator able to
provide positive morale
Mechanical aptitude with
problem solving skills
Have the ability to analyze,
evaluate and be accountable for profit and loss (P&L) statements
Have the ability to effectively
manage controllable costs
Excellent communication skills
Ability to conduct multiple
daily walkabouts of the site to recognize and remedy deficiencies
Ability to conduct weekly GMP
Walks to ensure good manufacturing practices and assess external condition
of plant as far as compliance to FSSC regulations.
Ability to conduct monthly
plant utility walks to inspect liquefaction equipment and cooling towers.
Qualifications:
Military Experience including
Navy Nuclear Program a Plus
Understand and follow
established product quality procedures and guidelines to insure customers
are receiving expected quality and purity of product
Ability to manage production
schedule and configure plant machinery to meet demand
Operational job knowledgeable
of each job function in the facility
Understanding of Human
Resources principles of hiring, reviewing, terminating, promoting,
directing, supervising and motivating plant and office employees
Understanding of total
manufacturing process, which includes liquid Carbon Dioxide, Ammonia
Refrigeration and Dry Ice
Production, and be able to troubleshoot in each area
Understand and follow
established product quality procedures and guidelines to insure customers
are receiving expected quality and purity of product
Ability to manage production
schedule and configure plant machinery to meet demand
Operational job knowledgeable
of each job function in the facility
Working knowledge of production
and work schedules
Prior background with
maintenance a plus
Experience working with
evaporating towers and NH3 (ammonia) refrigeration a plus
