Job Description

The Delegated team (an outsource chief investment officer unit) of Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting is currently seeking a Data Analyst to join the team. This individual will be responsible for the following responsibilities:

  • Handle daily data processing routines in a data warehouse and Trade Order Management System. View status and exceptions. Investigate and resolve discrepancies and exceptions. Ensure data integrity.
  • Provide ongoing data support and troubleshooting
  • Work with IT teams to technical requirements

The individual will be located in Chicago and will interact with Team members in the US and UK to support a global business platform.

Required Skills
  • High learning agility.
  • College degree with course work in business/computer science or related experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of financial/investment concepts and math.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced,environment.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team on a variety of projects, receive instructions from a number of people and meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Good oral/written communication skills.
  • Experience with databases, data management a plus
  • Experience with SQL a plus
  • Experience with Bloomberg AIM/Eagle Pace a plus
  • 2+ years of work experience as an Operations Data Analyst preferred
  • Desire to pursue technology / data management career track

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $67,900 to $75,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plansto receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
