About our group:

Seagate is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Sr. Supply/Demand Account Manager who will own the product demand planning and fulfillment for a key account. This person will act as the focal point in communication and execution of product demand analysis & fulfillment to meet Seagate's overall financial goals. In addition, the Account Manager will engage with the customer and the Sales and Marketing teams to understand and anticipate demand variations.

About the role - you will:

  • Analyze forecasted demand, inventory, and customer sell through to develop and manage weekly and quarterly demand / supply plans.
  • Results should focus on supporting Seagate revenue goals while minimizing inventory liability. Evaluate risks, plan, and implement contingency plans to mitigate.
  • Analyze customer demand, purchase orders and backlog on a daily/weekly basis. Identify problem areas and drive appropriate customer engagement and internal functional groups to correct. Must understand trend analysis and future demand projections.
  • Coordinate closely with internal logistics teams to ensure on-time shipments and appointment confirmations.
  • Partner with logistics teams to determine and execute optimal supply chain for all product shipments, incorporating both cost and customer service metrics.

About you:

  • Successful candidate will have Operations or Inside Sales Support experience, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional candidates will have an aptitude to lead by example with the ability to present data to middle and upper management in a concise, cohesive manner.
  • Prior experience in account management, inventory management, or supply chain is required. The candidate must combine a working knowledge of world class supply chain practices, strong analytical capabilities, and business savvy.
  • Prior experience in the consumer or distribution channel is strongly preferred.
  • Strong Excel Skills are a requirement; advanced skills are preferred.

Your experience includes:

  • The candidate must be a strong team player and communicator. Additional requirements include the ability to think strategically and execute tactically as well as having a high level of comfort in working with numbers.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Sales, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Supply Chain or equivalent experience.

The estimated base salary range for this position in the San Francisco Bay Area is: $81,000 -$117,700. Actual salary range is based on the regional labor market of the role in the geography in which the position is located based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
