In partnership with a leading aviation company here in the Marina area, we are looking to hire First Article Inspectors to add to our team.

• Pay rate = $30-45/hour

• Shift = 1st - working 8a-4:30p Mon-Fri

Job responsibilities include:

• Utilize software tools to apply numeric bubbles to PDF drawing features per AS9102 requirements

• Export AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) plan in Excel format

• Review bubble drawing and FAI plan to verify all features captured, drawing notes, dimensions, tolerances and GD&T symbols are correct

• Review plans with quality engineers for approval

• Enter inspection results from reports and electronic work instructions into FAI reports

Qualified candidates must have:

• 3-4+ years of composite or mechanical inspection experience in the aviation/aerospace industry

• High-school diploma or GED

• Ability to understand AS9102 requirements

• Ability to understand complex composite drawings

• Basic knowledge of GD&T symbols

• Strong math skills - including measurement conversions

Pay Details: $30.00 to $45.00 per hour
