About this opportunity:

As a part of establishing a Smart Factory within the U.S., we are now looking for an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our Equipment Maintenance Team! This individual will provide general technical support for the factory site and install, maintain, and repair the production support equipment related to the manufacturing assembly of Ericsson radios.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide uninterrupted operation of production support equipment on the Thermal dispense robots, pneumatic screwdrivers, leakage testers and other support equipment.
  • Be able to identify equipment and operational problems and fix faults on equipment related to the Final Assembly, Troubleshooting/Repair and other departments containing production support equipment.
  • Conduct analysis of faults and use knowledge for preventive maintenance frequencies to increase uptime and performing corrections as needed.
  • Ensure continuous process control and adjustment or assembling of device parameters such as recording torque specs on pneumatic devices, leakage calibrations on leak testers and other verifications on support equipment.
  • General assembly and modifications around the factory of conveyors and production line setups
  • Monitor the availability of spare parts and materials in stock and if necessary, order new spare parts on time according to instructions.
  • Responsible for the installation and calibration of new production support equipment and assembly tools and facility supply connections (air, electricity, water) as needed and working in a frequently changing environment.
  • Train and assist with production machines in SMA/FA/Warehouse as needed

To be successful in the role, you must have:

  • Minimum 5 years of related technical experience in electrical/electronics, electro-mechanical, or industrial maintenance.
  • Familiar with general maintenance tools and assorted industrial equipment such as drills, various saws, drill presses, etc.
  • Experience working with the necessary documentation and computer programs.
  • Efficiency in Microsoft programs is a plus
  • Ability to read drawings and simple schematics and apply use of work instructions
  • Compliance experience with ESD, Security, Occupational, Health, and Environmental safety requirements
  • Mechanical and metal fabrication experience is a plus
  • Self-motivation, committed to providing high-quality work
  • Ability to work overtime and/or flexible shift hours when required

This role reports to the Technician Supervisor
