Associate Specialist (Dr. Robert Blelloch Lab)
An Associate Specialist position is currently available for immediate employment in the lab of Dr. Robert Blelloch at the University of California, San Francisco in the Institute for Regeneration Medicine (at the Parnassus campus). Research will involve the production of synthetic dendritic cells as cancer vaccines.
The candidate will have the opportunity to publish their research in preeminent scientific journals such as Cell, Nature, Cell Stem Cell, Nature Cell Biology, eLIFE, etc. For research topics, please see our lab website at https://blellochlab.ucsf.edu/
Responsibilities and technical expertise: Maintenance and genetic manipulation of pluripotent stem cells, differentiation into dendritic cells, characterization of resulting cells using immune phenotyping, functional assays and single cell sequencing. Characterization of cells as a potential vaccine source.
