Department Overview

Position Summary

Extracts operations data for analysis, leadership support and responsesto ad hoc data requests. Maintains operations tools & databases toensure that it is kept up-to-date. Develops, maintains and enhancesoperational metric database tools for the broader analytics teams.Identifies and solves current gaps in data requirements and ease ofaccess to ensure fast and consistent responses to leadership inquiries.

Job Responsibilities

  • Acts as a thought leader applying extensive data processing and data analysis expertise in the development of strategy or resolution to complex data issues. Creates very complex automated data routines and processes for reporting and data delivery ensuring accurate data manipulation and data cleansing.
  • Acts as team lead and provides direction to less experienced employees.
  • Analyzes data using various advanced statistical tools to develop complex ad hoc reports, statistics, trends and profiles.
  • Develops comprehensive reports and analysis for long-term, company-wide issues. Presents/communicates clear, concise and actionable data analyses for clients.
  • Manages extracting data and transferring the data from databases to various analysts to support operational analysis efforts.
  • Manages major and complex cross functional data projects that have broad company implications.
  • Manages very complex data analysis projects with very limited supervision from initial request to presenting data results ensuring that the project is completed within budget and on-time.
  • May work with Senior Management to develop business related strategy, leveraging data in decision making.
  • Qualifications

    Minimum:

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Job-related experience, 8 years
  • Desired:

  • Masters Degree or equivalent experience
