Personalis, Inc. is a leader in advanced cancer genomics for enabling the next generation of precision cancer therapies and diagnostics. Responsibilities:

The Informatics Analysis and Delivery Manager will lead the transformation of the organization's analytical data and delivery capabilities. In this capacity, the candidate will work with partners from Lab Operations, Project Management, Bioinformatics, and Informatics, to maintain and improve systems to assess assay results, perform data delivery, and manage data delivery. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to lead a team of engineers to perform data analysis, data management, and data delivery.

• Act as a champion of data driven decisions and a trusted partner to brainstorming on data solutions and delivery automation.
• Lead business conversations, help requirements shaping, drive design reviews in close collaboration with partners.
• Understand the data systems architecture & maintain data catalogs with source to target mappings / functional specs creation, documentation and communicate with data engineers and other teams.
• Manage the maintenance and smooth operation of legacy data systems and delivery systems while developing and implementing advanced replacement systems that cater to current use cases while leveraging updated data architecture and technology stack.
• Lead the development and growth of data engineers.

Role Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or analytics engineering.
• 3+ years of Life Sciences domain experience and Laboratory software experience. Salesforce and other business systems knowledge.
• Ability to lead and manage a team of engineers.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal; ability to present data and its implications in a clear, concise manner.
• Expertise in data engineering technologies, such as SQL, Python, R, and/or Java.
• Experience working in CAP/CLIA environments and utilizing version control and documentation as managerial tools.
• A deep understanding of analytics & engineering principles.

The hiring range for this position is $180,000 to $225,000 per year, which may factor in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Our full-time regular positions also include an annual performance-based bonus (or a sales incentive plan) and long-term incentive units (equity) provided as part of our compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
