We are currently hiring an Inside Sales Manager, EMEA/Asia, to help support our Westinghouse Parts Business. The primary role of the Inside Sales Manager of EMEA and Asia is to oversee and lead our expanding team of Inside Sales Engineers. This position is tasked with strategizing and implementing solutions to improve the efficiency of our process and tools to help ensure our team can stay in front of our growing demand. The Inside Sales Manager will help transition our existing team to be more proactive in upselling and guiding their team in prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals. Communication and collaboration are paramount, fostering cohesion among team members spread across different time zones and cultures. The manager also liaises with other departments, such as Outside Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Management and Operations, to respond to customer RFQs and to resolve issues during contract execution. Monitoring sales metrics, providing constructive feedback, and conducting regular performance evaluations are integral to maintaining team motivation and productivity. Adaptable and culturally sensitive leadership is key to navigating the dynamic landscapes of EMEA and Asia, driving success in diverse markets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of inside sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Provide monthly financial forecast for the EMEA and Asia region based on PEGA sales
  • Monitor sales metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Provide ongoing training and coaching to sales team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as outside sales, supply chain, engineering and operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Develop relationships with key customers and ensure timely processing of RFQs, offers and status updates after award

Who You Are:

  • B.S. degree in engineering or business management, information technology or computer science.
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, business or operations with increasing progression of complexity and levels

Key Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, commercial effectiveness, change management and communication skills;
  • Familiarity with WPB PEGA tool and interrelation with SAP
  • Thought Leader, personable, business analysis skills, collaborative mindset, and inquisitive behavior;
  • Strong understanding of financials in general (relationship of sales, margin and OE), the generation of financial plans and how to positively impact margin/EBITA;
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to coordinate various functional groups and activities and also lead team to success (ability to influence);
  • Clear understanding of the inter-workings of the organization (procedures and processes) and how to navigate and ensure completion of the actions.

  • Strong decision making and communication skills;
  • Ability to communicate at higher levels and provide upper management presentations;
  • Ability to absorb significant and complex information and distill it into key points for use in discussions, negotiations and strategic planning;
  • Ability to see and develop a future for product area.
