Position Description

Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers are residential, drug and alcohol treatment units of The Salvation Army. Program participants come from all walks of life and through voluntary and judicial system referrals. The program is available for men and women between the ages of 18 – 65 and is offered to individuals at no charge. The ARC recognizes that the physical, psychological and spiritual needs of the individual must be addressed before real progress can be achieved. The ARC offers a comprehensive program that includes counseling, work therapy and spiritual development. The Program is funded by the profits made from our Thrift Stores, which sell donated items.

The Salvation Army, San Francisco Adult Rehabilitation Center is looking for someone with the skills and talent to take our Production and Retail Divisions to the next level. The Business Administrator would be responsible for the overall business operations of an ARC Center overseeing the administration, retail, and production operations. This person will have general supervision over the Director of Retail and the Director of Production. This position will train in San Francisco but may be stationed in another Bay Area location.

QUALIFICATIONS: BA or BS in Business or equivalent in experience. A minimum of five years general management experience essential. Should have experience in both retail and production operations. Should have experience with Microsoft Office programs, with strong Excel experience. Must have a working knowledge of basic business administration and office management along with a general knowledge of property management, public relations, and project management.
