Internship/Externship Site Developer - SJC

We are gearing up for a very exciting period in our long history and currently have an opening for a full-time Internship/Externship Site Developer at our San Jose Campus.
 
Overview:
 
The campus Externship/Internship Site Developer is responsible for identifying potential externship/internship sites and developing relationships with potential externship/internship employers.
 
Additionally, the Externship/Internship Site Developer conducts initial screening of site qualifications via telephone and facilitates the formal qualification visit with the appropriate academic member.  The E/I Site Developer assists with the preparation of the Site Agreement for the appropriate academic member to secure and maintain. The Externship/Internship Site Developer monitors and helps drive conversions of sites to graduate placements.
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain regular contact with site managers during a student’s experience.
• Cultivate relationships in all program-related industries
• Identify and perform initial screening of potential sites based on requirements of internship or externship
• Communicates and distributes potential sites to appropriate academic liaison for internship or externship
• Increase sites 20% year over year.
• Monitor and drive conversion rates internship/ externship to employment
• Promotes internship opportunities to student body to increase awareness and participation.
• Visit potential sites alongside appropriate academic liaison.

Job Specifications 

• Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in sales and customer service
• Proven, excellent interpersonal communication skills Proven, excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both in person and over the phone.
• Valid drivers license and current automobile insurance
• Ability to travel locally to sites as needed.
