Program Executability is a department within the Corporate Chief Architect/Engineer Division. Program Executability Directorate provides senior council to DoD and NRO space programs in the areas of system engineering and acquisition to enhance program executability. The Senior Project Engineer (Sr. PE) is responsible for assuring the technical and programmatic integrity and consistency of strategic planning, milestone decision (KDP) formulation, pre-award products, and post-award execution. Emphasis is on the ability to conduct assessments (including leading assessment teams) to identify alternatives, formulate decision criteria, and present analysis outcomes in the areas of acquisition strategies, technical performance requirements, risk assessment and management, solicitation and source selection, and program execution. Hands-on leadership and guidance, course development and teaching, and facilitation and participation with SPO teams as well as UsecAF and PEO staff accomplish these duties. The Sr. PE will be exposed to a broad spectrum of space, ground, and launch, and technology concepts in all levels of life cycle maturity.
