The Ortho -Surgical unit is a 52 bed, fast paced, surgical unit. Our patient population includes general surgery to hip and knee replacement surgeries. The neuro unit 17 bed telemetry unit. Patient population includes stroke, spine surgery, neuro surgery, vascular surgery and seizures. Our staff is highly skilled professionals with many years of experience, making these great units for experienced nurses looking for a challenge. Our goal is to become the recognized centers for orthopedic, spine and neuro excellence in the Sacramento area and nationally. Qualification: Minimum 5yrs Med/Surg Bedside experience, prefer ICU critical care background. Comprehensive Ortho/Spine/Neuro experience required. Previous leadership experience required. Excellent communication skills required. Prior Education/Teaching experience preferred. BSN required/MSN preferred. Current BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
